SOCIAL HIDAYAH

Privacy notice

Last updated 4 September 2026.

This page explains what Social Hidayah stores when you use the question set service, why, for how long, and how to have it removed. It applies to the website at personalbranding.socialhidayah.com. UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply. The data controller is Social Hidayah Ltd.

What we collect and why

  • Your name and email address, so we can send you your question set and, if you agree, occasional emails about making content. Lawful basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.
  • The four answers you give about your work: what you do, who you serve, your main service and price, and what clients get wrong. We use them to write your fifteen interview questions. They are sent to Anthropic, the AI provider that writes the questions, and are not used by Anthropic to train its models.
  • If you record answers, the video files you upload, so our editors can cut a Reel and write a LinkedIn post for you. Lawful basis: your consent, given by uploading.
  • The finished Reel and LinkedIn post we deliver to you.
  • A scrambled form of your internet address for one hour after you submit the form, used only to stop automated abuse of the service. It cannot be turned back into your address.

How long we keep it

  • Raw video clips: deleted automatically thirty days after upload, unless you become a client and ask us to keep them.
  • Finished Reels: deleted automatically twelve months after delivery.
  • Your name, email, answers and questions: kept until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer have a reason to keep them.
  • Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.

Who processes it for us

  • Anthropic (writing the questions from your answers).
  • Neon, through Vercel (the database, held in London).
  • Cloudflare (video storage, held in Western Europe).
  • Resend (sending the emails about your questions, recording and delivery).
  • MailerLite (the occasional emails about making content).
  • Vercel (hosting the website).

Each of these acts on our instructions under a written contract. Where any of them holds data outside the UK, they do so under the UK's international transfer rules.

Your rights

  • You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
  • You can withdraw consent at any time. Unsubscribing from our emails withdraws consent to marketing. Asking us to delete your record withdraws consent to everything.
  • You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you think we have handled your data badly. We would rather you told us first.

How to ask us to delete your data

  • Email us from the address you gave us, or reply to any email we have sent you, and say you want your record deleted. We remove your name, email, answers, questions, any video and any finished Reel from our systems, and your subscription from our email list, within seven days. We confirm by email when it is done.
